Senior Site Engineer – Residential
A leading residential developer is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to join the team on a major housing project in North Tipperary due to begin mid January. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer with strong residential construction experience to play a key role in delivering high-quality homes for first-time buyers. The role is site-based and reports to the Construction Director.
Duties:
• Oversee all engineering works on site for the development.
• Ensure construction quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Manage setting out, surveying, levelling, and site inspections.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and utility providers (Irish Water, ESB).
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and monitoring construction progress.
• Maintain site records and prepare progress and quality reports.
• Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Degree-qualified in Engineering or related field.
• 4–6+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer/Senior Engineer.
• Strong residential construction experience.
• Knowledge of Irish Water and ESB infrastructure requirements.
• Excellent technical skills with AutoCAD and setting-out equipment.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Full driving licence.
Salary & Benefits:
• Salary: €75,000–€85,000 DOE.
• Bonus, pension and vehicle provided
