Senior Site Engineer
A Senior Site Engineer is required for an established and expanding contractor to work on a variety of high-quality projects in the Sligo and Leitrim region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a progressive and growing team and play a key role in the delivery of high-standard construction projects. The successful candidate will have a solid background working with building or civils contractors in Ireland or the UK and be confident managing both technical and site operations.
Duties:
• Oversee and support setting-out engineers while carrying out precise surveying work.
• Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications and design requirements.
• Coordinate with site management, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Plan and schedule works effectively (daily, 1-week, 4-week, and 12-week lookahead).
• Manage labour, materials, and resources efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, site documentation, and QA records.
• Attend site progress and health & safety meetings.

Requirements:
• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ on-site experience in civil engineering, groundworks, or building construction.
• Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
• Strong technical, planning, and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
