An experienced Quantity Surveyor is required to support the commercial delivery of high-profile residential and commercial projects in Dublin for a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Surveying Director, Project Director, and Project Manager on all commercial aspects of the project.
- Coordinate with the Design Team to ensure specifications and requirements are clearly understood and met.
- Attend regular site meetings and update the Surveying Director on project status, risks, and resolutions.
- Review tender enquiries and conduct tender analysis for upcoming projects.
- Oversee subcontractor purchasing and on-site package monitoring.
- Manage subcontractor re-measurements and process interim and final account payments.
- Issue payment certificates fortnightly/monthly and oversee variation logs with Junior Quantity Surveyors.
- Prepare and issue interim payment applications, ensuring payment correlation.
- Finalise account preparations post-project completion.
- Monitor project costs using construction software and participate in monthly reporting.
- Forecast project cash flow and issue monthly reports to accounts.
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- Comprehensive understanding of construction drawings, bills of quantities, and specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS software systems.
- Proven experience in both commercial and residential project environments.
- Strong cost control and budgetary management capabilities.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: €80,000 – €90,000 (depending on experience)
