Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for civil engineering projects.
- Monitor project costs, track expenditure, and support the management of project finances.
- Manage procurement, subcontractor relationships, and contract administration.
- Oversee variations, ensuring compliance with contracts and client expectations.
- Liaise with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain smooth project progress.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quantity surveyors.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
- Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the civil engineering sector.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of contract management, cost control, and project finance.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Full clean driving license.
