Senior Quantity Surveyor
A Tier 1 Main Building Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a large-scale data project in West Dublin. Our client requires a candidate with a minimum of 6 years of experience, including some senior-level responsibilities, ideally within the data centre or similar high-spec construction sectors in Ireland. The company is engaged in some of Ireland’s most prestigious projects and has a strong pipeline of work across various sectors for the foreseeable future.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum of 6 years’ professional experience, with a proven track record in managing subcontractors and clients on valuations, variations, final accounts, and cost reporting
- Strong understanding of specifications, bills of quantities, and construction drawings
- Skilled in extracting quantities from drawings and procuring accurate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers within specified timelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other Quantity Surveying software
- Demonstrable experience in commercial and industrial projects
- Excellent budget management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and precise reports
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities
- Proactive self-starter with strong flexibility and commitment to success
- Effective team player with well-developed interpersonal skills
Compensation Package:
- Competitive salary: €85k – €95k
