Our client, a prominent player in the construction industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Omagh, Tyrone. This position is pivotal for overseeing a major new project and offers an excellent opportunity for long-term career development in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage all aspects of quantity surveying for the new project, ensuring cost control and adherence to budget.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
- Contract Administration: Administer contracts, manage variations, and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Financial Reporting: Monitor and report on project financial performance, including cash flow and cost forecasts.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quantity surveying, with a strong background in managing large-scale construction projects.
- Qualifications: Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and financial reporting.
