Senior Quantity Surveyor
Experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor sought to join a leading Main Building Contractor to work on a project in Dublin City Centre which is starting next months. Our client’s commercial department boasts a stellar industry reputation and the company has achieved remarkable growth over recent years. The accomplished Senior QS will be in direct communication with a Commercial Director and will lead a team. Ideal candidates should possess a minimum of 7 years’ experience.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Preferred qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience with a proven track record in managing interactions with Subcontractors and Clients concerning Valuations, Variations, Final Accounts, and cost reporting
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of specifications, bills of quantities, and technical drawings
- Exhibits a strong capacity to extract quantities from drawings and send out inquiries to sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate quotations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other Quantity Surveying software packages
- Proven expertise in Commercial and Industrial Project Management
- Demonstrates excellent fiscal responsibility
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver and clarify accurate reports
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously
- Self-motivated, capable of structuring the workday around assigned tasks and priorities with minimal supervision; demonstrates flexibility and a strong commitment to success
- Able to collaborate effectively within a diverse team, showcasing strong interpersonal skills
Salary:
- Competitive salary ranging from €90,000 to €100,000 annually
