Seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join my clients’ growing team in Dublin. The role involves leading electrical system designs for Data Centres, Industrial, Commercial, and Pharma projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Role Responsibilities:
- Produce feasibility studies, outline designs, and detailed electrical designs
- Develop design drawings, electrical plant selection, and specifications
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for electrical systems
- Liaise with other disciplines and clients to ensure alignment with project goals
- Manage power supply upgrades in collaboration with utility companies
- Ensure designs are delivered on time and within budget
Role Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in electrical design, including team leadership
- Chartership or in progress is a distinct advantage
- Proficient in electrical design software (Dialux, Amtech, Etap, Eracs, Cdegs)
- Strong knowledge of LV, MV, and HV design in data centres and building services
- Excellent communication, presentation, and managerial skills
- Eligible to work in Ireland with a full Irish driving license
