An award winning construction and project management consultancy in Dublin city is seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to their team. This consultancy, known for providing comprehensive quantity surveying, project management, and due diligence services, offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects both nationally and internationally.
The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in managing medium to large-scale projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, retail, industrial, educational, leisure, data centres, healthcare, and student accommodation. You will oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field, with at least 5 years of industry experience within a consultancy or developer setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex projects, aligning with the company’s goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Mentor and support junior project managers to foster professional growth
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within a consultancy or developer environment
- Proven success managing medium/large-scale projects in sectors such as retail, residential, commercial, mixed-use, educational, data centres, or healthcare
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Proficiency in project management software and the MS Office Suite
- Excellent report writing skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ambitious, diligent, and committed to delivering high-quality work
- Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
