A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Project Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects across a variety of sectors, including commercial, healthcare, education, and infrastructure. The role involves leading electrical design, project management, and delivering innovative engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical design projects from concept to completion.
- Develop electrical engineering solutions for building services and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress reports as required.
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and quality control measures.
- Contribute to sustainability and energy-efficient design initiatives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer or actively working towards Chartership.
- 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering design within the building services sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and security systems.
- Experience with design tools such as Revit, Amtech, Dialux, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Understanding of Irish building regulations, CIBSE, IEC, and BS standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
