We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead large-scale data centre projects across Ireland and the EMEA region. This position involves full project ownership — from concept and detailed design to client handover — ensuring technical excellence, quality delivery, and strong client relationships.

Key Projects
You’ll contribute to a range of major data centre developments, including:
- 50MW Hyperscale Facility – Dublin: Full electrical design delivery including MV/LV distribution, standby generation, and critical systems.
- Enterprise Campus Expansion – Frankfurt: Multi-building project integrating modular power infrastructure and advanced monitoring.
- Retrofit & Sustainability Upgrade – Amsterdam: Energy optimisation and resilience enhancement for an operational Tier III data centre.
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (Chartered status an advantage)
- 10+ years’ experience in electrical building services design, preferably in data centre environments
- Strong knowledge of ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS, and EN standards
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and Revit
- Confident leading projects independently and managing multidisciplinary coordination
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design and specification for data centre projects from concept to completion
- Oversee quality assurance, tender documentation, and site coordination
- Develop internal design standards and mentor junior engineers
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and project managers to ensure delivery excellence
- Manage reporting, budgets, and resource planning for assigned projects
