Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design from concept to completion across multiple projects
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and consultants to align design objectives
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians
- Ensure compliance with Irish building codes, sustainability standards, and best practices
- Support project planning, delivery schedules, and cost management
- Represent the company in client meetings and contribute to business development
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
- Minimum 6+ years’ experience in mechanical design, ideally within an Irish consultancy
- Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and local construction practices
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Hevacomp, IES, and other relevant design software (Revit a plus)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills
- Chartered or working towards chartership
