Senior Mechanical Engineer needed to join an outstanding International Multidisciplinary Consultancy practice in Dublin. This Mechanical Engineer role will suit a high calibre of candidates who are highly competent mechanical design engineers with excellent interpersonal, communication and team working skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer to lead a team of engineers on some exciting projects.

Duties:
- Work as part of a multidiscipline team on a variety of projects
- Lead a team of engineers on the design mechanical building services packages in Revit & AutoCAD
- Provide technical support and assistance to Junior Mechanical Engineers
- Implementing Quality & CAD / Revit standards
- Check other mechanical engineers work for accuracy and quality and undertake peer reviews
- The successful Senior Mechanical Engineer will attend and participate in client and stakeholder meetings
- Participate in project site visits to monitor, review and sign-off mechanical installations
Requirements:
- Engineering Degree and ideally progressing towards Chartered Engineer.
- Strong experience in design of mechanical engineering systems for buildings, together with a keen interest in passive design techniques, sustainable environmental solutions, and renewable energy technologies.
- 8+ years’ postgraduate mechanical building services design experience required.
- The successful Mechanical Engineer will have a proven track record in the successful design and delivery of high-quality projects across a range of sectors.
- AutoCAD and REVIT skills are essential.
- Self-motivated with good time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English with an understanding of tact, diplomacy, and negotiation.
- A desire to solve problems and produce exemplar projects that inspire pride
- An interest in minimising the environmental impact of design decisions made.
Salary & Benefits:
- €60,000 to €70,000 – DOE
