Excellent opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Dublin office of a highly respected, award-winning global engineering consultancy. Responsibilities:
- Perform building analysis such as HVAC, specialist gas, water services, drainage and fire suppression systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and review their design work.
- Estimating, cost control and compilation of project reports ensuring documents are prepares to the highest standards.
- Coordinate work with various team members across all design teams such as architects, engineers and Qs etc.
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years experience, most of which will be in design gained within a consultancy environment.
- Demonstratable experience in the design of laboratory based HVAC, pressure cascades, specialist gases and an understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice is a must.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes of practice.
- Competent in electrical design software, BIM environment and Revit capabilities will be seen As an advantage.
