Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: €60K – €75K DOE
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy in Dublin. This is a senior-level position where you will lead and manage the delivery of mechanical design across projects of all sizes, ensuring best-in-class engineering standards.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full mechanical design process across projects of all sizes, from concept to completion
- Provide technical leadership and quality control for mechanical engineering projects across all locations
- Represent the company at client, contractor, and project meetings, including site visits and surveys
- Manage project costs and ensure work is delivered within agreed budgets and timelines
- Coordinate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver fully integrated design solutions
- Oversee and mentor engineering team members to ensure continuous development and best practices
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Irish building regulations and industry standards
- Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders as required
Requirements:
- Degree (Level 8) in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
- 6+ years’ Building Services Consultancy design experience
- Proven track record delivering detailed mechanical designs through the full design cycle
- Expertise in mechanical building services, including HVAC, LTHW, water services, fuel systems, BMS, and above-ground drainage
- Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, particularly TGD Parts B, F, G, and L
- Experience with thermal modelling, energy assessment, and dynamic energy modelling software
- BIM and commercial sector project experience is highly desirable
- Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards chartership
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to make prompt, disciplined project decisions
