My multi-national fire engineering consultancy client has opened up a Dublin office recently, and is looking to grow the company at an exponential rate. They are recruiting a number of fire engineers from 2 years’ experience all the way up to associate level. The successful senior fire engineer would be expected to mentor a number of younger engineers, and the company has a track record of fast growth within the company for their employees. The company has a central Dublin location, with extremely generous benefits packages
The ideal senior fire engineer would have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in an Irish consultancy
Current Projects:
- The company works directly with Dublin Airport on their fire safety requirements
- The company works with a number of large educational institutions across Ireland
- The company works on a number of massive residential blocks with hundreds of units in each.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of fire safety systems, ensuring compliance with fire codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Conduct fire risk assessments and provide fire engineering solutions for a range of building types, recommending effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage fire engineering projects, including overseeing designs, liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.
- Utilize fire modelling software (e.g., FDS, PyroSim) to simulate fire scenarios and evaluate the performance of fire safety systems.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise, training, and support to develop their skills and knowledge.
Role / Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree (Level 8) in fire engineering.
- Strong experience in fire certs.
- 6+ years’ relevant experience in an Irish consultancy
- A strong interest in fire safety engineering and a desire to develop a career in this field.
- A strong legal understanding
- Have fluent English and have strong report writing skill.
