Senior Estimator – Hybrid
Senior Estimator required for a leading Main Building Contractor to work in Galway. The successful Senior Estimator will be responsible for of a range large scale Residential & Commercial Projects valued from €10-€70 million.

Requirements:
- 3rd Level Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or Engineering.
- The Senior Estimator must have 7+ years’ experience working as an estimator for a main building contractor.
- Commercial / Residential Estimating Experience.
- Able to work accurately and efficiently while managing owns time to meet critical deadlines.
- Attention to detail and proficient with Excel.
Duties:
- Assess and interpret tender documentation, including drawings, specifications, and scope requirements, while managing continuous updates.
- Prepare and analyse consultant, subcontractor, and material cost packages; measure works per standards and identify cost-saving opportunities like value engineering.
- Prepare and price tender documents, manage risks, and finalize submissions in compliance with instructions and tender clarifications.
- Liaise with design teams, Project QS, and construction teams to review pricing strategies, budgets, and technical requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and design teams; prepare project handover reports and presentations to stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of cost plans, proposals, and procedures while continually enhancing tender bid strategies and practices.
