We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our clients team, a leading main contractor working across large-scale residential and commercial projects. You will be based in their offices in Offaly. If you have a background in estimating and are looking to take on a senior role with a dynamic and successful company, this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Estimate Preparation: Develop detailed and accurate estimates for large-scale residential and commercial projects.
- Tender Management: Manage the entire tender process, including gathering proposals, specifications, and quotes.
- Cost Analysis: Perform thorough cost analysis and risk assessments to ensure competitive and profitable bidding.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, ensuring best value and compliance.
- Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and any issues are promptly addressed.
- Report Generation: Compile and present comprehensive cost reports and tenders to senior management and project teams.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in an estimating role.
- Experience working on residential and commercial projects in Ireland or the UK.
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
Salary Package
- 75,000 – €85,000
