A well-known developer is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join its Galway team on a two-year fixed-term contract, for a large scale housing project.
Key Responsibilities
- Review design drawings, manage RFIs, and participate in Design Team Meetings.
- Communicate approved technical submittals and ensure understanding across site teams.
- Monitor programme delivery, report progress, and intervene to avoid delays.
- Coordinate subcontractors and service providers, ensuring quality, testing, and commissioning targets are met.
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, design documents, and relevant standards.
- Conduct continuous site inspections, resolving issues promptly.
- Coordinate site drawings and maintain accurate quality and site records.
- Manage relationships with third-party stakeholders (e.g., utilities and local authorities).
- Drive value engineering.
- Chair site meetings and promote a best-in-class customer and stakeholder experience.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar engineering role.
- Level 8 Engineering qualification (HETAC or equivalent).
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and take ownership of assigned
