Senior Electrical Engineer

The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead Data Centre projects and manage project delivery from conception all the way through to completion / client handover. The candidate must be able to work on their own initiative. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer to lead a team of engineers on exciting project.

Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from concept to completion
- Design and specification of electrical services for various types of buildings and sectors
- Mentoring junior engineers
- Liaise with clients, architects, and project managers
- Develop the electrical design standards within the organisation
- Provide tender packages and monitor site until project completion
- Be capable of taking the lead on projects with minimal input from management
Requirements:
- Engineering Degree and ideally progressing towards Chartered Engineer.
- 6 years’ experience in electrical building services design for buildings
- The successful Senior Electrical Engineer will have a proven track record in the successful design and delivery of high-quality projects across a range of sectors.
- AutoCAD and REVIT skills are essential.
- Expert knowledge end experience in the following design areas: Lighting & Emergency Lighting. Small Power and Data Fire alarms.
- Self-motivated with good time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English with an understanding of tact, diplomacy, and negotiation.
- A desire to solve problems and produce exemplar projects that inspire pride
Salary & Benefits:
- €60,000 to €70,000 – DOE
