Senior Buyer required for one of Ireland’s leading Engineering contractors, working across a portfolio of mission-critical and life sciences projects in Dublin and throughout Europe. This position is based in the company’s Dublin office, with occasional travel to European project sites, and offers the flexibility of hybrid working.

Responsibilities:
- Lead efficient, compliant, and cost-effective procurement processes.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing activities – from sourcing and negotiations to invoice clearance and reporting.
- Procure and hire materials, equipment, and services while ensuring quality, value, and timely delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Support strategic vendor agreements, procurement scheduling, and occasional site visits across Ireland and Europe.
Requirements
- A relevant third level qualification
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the construction industry with an Irish/UK contractor.
- Experience working on Pharmaceutical Projects.
- Flexibility to travel to projects in Europe
- Experience in both M&E and CSA scope of works would be beneficial.
- Experience leading projects from a project controls perspective.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite
