A leading architectural design studio with a growing presence in Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Architect / Associate Architect to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a strategic role in delivering complex, high-value healthcare and public sector projects across Ireland.
As a fully qualified Architect (RIAI / RIBA) with a strong background in project delivery, team leadership, and public procurement, you will be involved in some of exciting and socially impactful projects in the sector.
Your ability to lead, coordinate, and deliver on complex multi-stakeholder healthcare schemes will be a key part of your role.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years’ post-qualification experience as a Registered Architect (RIAI / RIBA or equivalent)
- Strong portfolio of Irish-based projects, ideally public sector and healthcare-focused
- Deep understanding of Planning, FSC, DAC, and Irish Building Regulations
- Proven experience acting as Design Certifier under BC(A)R
- Familiarity with public works contract administration is essential (PW-CF1/2, NEC4, D&B)
- Strong working knowledge of HBNs, HTMs, and Irish healthcare policy and strategy
Key Skills & Attributes
- Strong leadership in multi-disciplinary team environments
- Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills
- Experience managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in Revit, InDesign, and MS Office (essential)
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM workflows
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible design
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety in Design
- Experience bidding for new work and engaging in strategic project selection
