Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical)
Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical) required to join a large Mechanical Engineering Contractor at their office in Cork, servicing the projects for Cork/Waterford. You will report directly into the Commercial Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Review subcontractor agreements for risk, terms, and design accountability.
- Conduct Tender Risk Analysis using standard templates.
- Manage contract documents, including bills of quantities, ensuring accuracy.
- Identify and develop strategies to mitigate commercial risks.
- Provide advice on contractual claims, analysing outcomes and forecasting impacts.
- Prepare reports for claims and commercial reviews as needed.
- Deliver monthly project and business review reports per company standards.
- Support preparation of monthly commercial reports.
- Assist Estimation Department with cost estimates for mechanical works.
- Measure, price, and monitor variations for client submissions.
- Track and price tender submissions promptly and accurately.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Services Engineering.
- 3 Years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience working Mechanical packages on commercial and/or healthcare projects would be beneficial.
- The successful Quantity Surveyor must be in Ireland or the UK at present and eligible to work in Ireland without the need for a permit.
