Quantity Surveyor
We are currently recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a leading engineering services company. This role is based in Kildare and involves tendering major projects across Ireland, to work on a range of Data Centre, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare projects.

Responsibilities:
- Review construction contracts and manage procurement of subcontractors and materials.
- This Quantity Surveyor will control project costs and budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Prepare valuations, cost reports and financial updates throughout project lifecycles.
- Support improvements in commercial processes and overall project profitability.
- Manage subcontractor payments and ensure final accounts are agreed.
- Handle project correspondence and resolve contractual issues.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide commercial support to project teams.
- Assist with tendering and cost estimation for new projects.
Requirements:
- A third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics is advantageous but not essential.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within the building or construction sector.
- Strong understanding of core quantity surveying principles and project cost control.
- High attention to detail with solid operational and commercial awareness.
- Good presentation and general management skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and team members.
- Excellent written communication and negotiation skills to achieve favourable commercial outcomes.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage the commercial aspects of multiple projects concurrently.
Salary:
- Salary: €40,000 – €55,000 DOE
