A well-established mid-sized civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team based in West Dublin. This role offers excellent opportunities for career advancement and exposure to a variety of exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
- Manage procurement processes for subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and ensure budgets are adhered to.
- Handle contract management, variations, and claims.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve issues.
- Oversee final account preparation and ensure all costs are accounted for.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in civil engineering.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of contracts, cost management, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with quantity surveying software and MS Office.
