A well-established project management and cost consultancy based in Dublin city centre is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to join their growing team.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing projects at various stages of construction. You’ll be responsible for providing expert cost advice, ensuring projects are delivered within budget, and contributing to the overall success of the projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cost plans and budget estimates
- Lead value engineering exercises, identifying both risks and opportunities for savings
- Create Bills of Quantities with meticulous attention to detail
- Review and evaluate tenders, ensuring alignment with project goals and specifications
- Assess interim valuations and manage negotiations around project variations
- Provide cost reporting and ensure smooth settlement of final accounts
- Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders
Skills & Experience:
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of post-qualification experience within a cost consultancy or developer environment
- Proven ability to compile cost reports, valuations, claims, and contracts
- Membership with SCSI / RICS is highly desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly driven, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional results
- Full eligibility to work in Ireland is a prerequisite
