Quantity Surveyor
QS with at least 5 years’ experience required to join a progressive and growing Main Building Contractor to work on a building project which is starting next month and will have an expected duration of 2 years. This contractor has a strong pipeline of projects in various sectors including, apartments, commercial builds, pharma, healthcare facilities and various other project types. For this role, having Public Works Contract experience is a massive advantage.
Requirements:
- Strong commercial awareness, ideally 7+ years’ experience
- Must have worked on PW Contracts in Ireland
- Strong legal and contractual understanding in construction law
- Client facing
- Leadership skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Experience working for a main contractor with a building/industrial/commercial engineering background and experience with various types of contract forms
- Degree qualification in Construction Management, Surveying or Commercial Management
