A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Co. Meath. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, contract administration, and financial control across various civil engineering projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and financial forecasts.
- Assist with procurement, valuations, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and manage contracts, variations, and change orders.
- Provide accurate reporting on project financial performance to senior management.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective cost management.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and align project costs with work completed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the civil engineering or construction industry.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Quantity Surveying position
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems.
