QA Engineer – Northwest Dublin
A QA Engineer is required for a well-established Building and Civil Engineering Contractor to work on a high-profile data center project in Northwest Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong technical background who is looking to develop their career in quality assurance and compliance within the rapidly expanding data center sector. The successful QA Engineer will join a dynamic and experienced project team, ensuring the highest standards of quality and documentation are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Duties:

Implement and maintain project-specific quality assurance systems and procedures.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and updating Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and quality documentation.
- Carry out site inspections and audits to ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and standards.
- Support the engineering and construction teams in resolving technical and quality-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for handover and compliance purposes.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on all quality matters.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure lessons learned are captured.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience working with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor on large-scale construction projects, ideally within the data center, pharmaceutical, or industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes, documentation management, and technical standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and document control systems.
- Fluent English and eligible to work in Ireland.
- Full driving license preferred.
Salary:
- Salary circa €80k-90k, depending on experience.
