We have an exciting opportunity for a PSDP/Safety Professional with 4+ years of experience to join a leading engineering consultancy with over 80 years of experience in their Dublin office. This well-established firm has successfully delivered a variety of projects across Ireland and internationally.
This consultancy has offices in Dublin, Limerick, and Waterford, as well as abroad.

Role & Responsibilities:
-
Act as PSDP (Project Supervisor Design Process) on construction projects.
-
Attend client, design, and site meetings.
-
Prepare preliminary safety and health plans.
-
Compile and prepare safety files and health and safety reports.
-
Conduct site visits to monitor and enforce safety compliance.
-
Coordinate and liaise with all parties involved in the construction project.
-
Review the competence of duty holders and contractors.
-
Inspect and report on health and safety-related legal cases.
-
Work alongside the PSCS (Project Supervisor Construction Stage) to manage the safety of ongoing construction projects.
Requirements:
-
Degree in Construction or a related discipline (e.g., Architecture, Building Surveying, Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering).

Minimum of four years’ experience in a similar safety-related role within the construction industry.

Strong understanding of Health and Safety Legislation and regulations.

Experience managing complex construction projects from a safety perspective.

Construction Safety and Health Training.
-
Chartered membership of a professional body such as Engineers Ireland, IOSH, or a similar organization.
-
Additional qualifications or experience in Occupational Health and Safety would be advantageous.

Salary: €55K+ DOE + Bonus

9-day fortnight (take every second Friday off)
