Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) – Dublin / Hybrid
A great opportunity has opened for an experienced PSDP to join a well-established engineering consultancy working across some of Ireland’s most high-profile public and private sector projects. If you enjoy collaborating with design teams, influencing safer project delivery, and taking ownership of your work, this role will suit you down to the ground.
Sample Projects:
- Commercial & mixed-use developments
- Education facilities – new builds, extensions, campus redevelopments
- Healthcare projects – upgrades, refurbishments, medical facilities
- Civil & infrastructure schemes
- Public sector and local authority projects
- Large-scale residential developments
Role:
- Working closely with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure full compliance with design-stage health & safety legislation
- Reviewing Design Risk Assessments and preparing Preliminary Safety & Health Plans
- Compiling safety files and producing clear, practical H&S reports
- Attending client, design, and site meetings as an active contributor
- Carrying out site inspections with a focus on design-related safety risk management
- Coordinating with HSCs and PSCS teams throughout all project stages
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar)
- 2+ years’ relevant post-graduate experience in a safety-related role within the construction industry
- Strong working knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and design-stage responsibilities
- Experience supporting or managing complex construction projects from a safety perspective
- Construction Safety & Health training (additional H&S qualifications are a bonus)
