My client, a well-established Tier 2 building contractor, is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team for a high-profile project in Cork. This company has a strong reputation for staff retention, career development, and delivering complex builds across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project finances and cost control throughout all phases.
- Prepare detailed cost plans, valuations, and monthly reports.
- Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements.
- Support the commercial manager with budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and contractual obligations.
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within a main contracting environment.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
Salary: €70k – €80k + vehicle + pension + other benefits.
