A leading developer in Meath is looking to hire an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a fast-moving, large-scale residential development. This site-based role offers the chance to play a key part in the financial management and successful delivery of a high-profile project.
Responsibilities
- Manage subcontract packages and oversee payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Perform standard quantity surveying duties, including valuations and cost reporting.
- Undertake monthly internal valuations and produce monthly cost reports.
- Monitor budgets, variations, and financial progress of the project.
- Maintain accurate subcontractor and supplier contractual records.
- Support the delivery of residential, RC frame, apartment, and commercial building projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years post-graduate experience in PQS or contractor’s office.
- House building/residential experience essential.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- Competent with Buildsoft, Cost-ex, or equivalent software, plus Microsoft Word and Excel.
