Project Manager (Relocate to Canada) – 9156

Exciting relocation opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Building Division of one of Canada’s Largest Main Contractors (Circa $3 Billion turnover annually) to work across a mixed portfolio of High-Rise, Commercial, Healthcare and Educational projects in the companies Ontario division, Canada.


  • Lead, direct, and coordinate the daily management of project (s) valuing over $30 Million CAD.
  • Accountable for the overall project performance including cost, schedule, quality, status and compliance.
  • Provide safety leadership through implementation of the companies safety program.
  • Planning, scheduling, setting objectives and controlling activities during the construction phase.
  • Mentor and manage a successful team and help develop future construction professionals.
  • Supervision and development of project team members through regular feedback, training and coaching; timely completion of performance evaluations.
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting on overall performance of project to Senior Management.
  • Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects and subcontractors.



  • Degree/Diploma/Trade in Construction or Engineering Discipline.
  • 10 Years+ in Construction / Project Management for a Main Contractor in Ireland/UK.
  • Solid understanding of construction industry practices.
  • Strong familiarity with contract administration, understanding drawings, specifications, architectural and engineering standards and building practices, including building codes.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • IT Skills: MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam and Plan Grid.
  • Available to relocate permanently to Canada within 6 months.



  • Salary $175,000 to $200,000 CAD (Circa €120k to €135k)
  • Cost of living is 30% cheaper than Dublin.
