Project Manager

A highly reputable Main Building Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a long-term residential development in the Waterford area.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all site activities and day-to-day operations from start to completion.
  • Lead the on-site team including Engineers, Site Managers, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and delivery milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards.
  • Monitor progress, quality, and costs, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives.
  • Report regularly to senior management on progress, risks, and key issues.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Project or Site Management with a main contractor.
  • Proven background in residential construction – housing project experience essential.
  • Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and current industry standards.
  • Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
