A leading Tier 1 main contractor is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join high-performing teams delivering a complex, high-profile commercial project in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity to work with blue-chip clients in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with clear career progression.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Develop and update project programmes in coordination with the Contracts Manager
- Lead and mentor the project team, allocating resources effectively
- Implement robust health & safety practices and promote a strong safety culture
- Maintain quality control throughout all project phases
- Ensure cost management and tight control of prelims and subcontractor packages
- Work closely with the commercial team to meet financial targets
- Maintain strong client relationships and keep all stakeholders informed of progress, claims, and delays
Requirements:
- Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing complex commercial construction projects (new build and fit-out)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools (MS Project or similar)
Package:
- €95,000 – €105,000
