Our client, a Tier 1 Main Contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee high-profile residential developments in Galway. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor known for delivering complex housing and apartment schemes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Contracts Manager to develop and regularly update the master construction programme, ensuring project milestones are achieved.

Plan and allocate project staffing resources efficiently while fostering clear communication across the team.

Drive a strong safety-first culture on-site by implementing and maintaining the company’s Safety Management System.

Maintain high standards of build quality throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that preliminaries and subcontractor packages remain within budget.

Partner with the commercial team to achieve financial targets and project profitability.

Keep the client fully informed through effective reporting and communication, particularly around potential risks, delays, and commercial impacts.
Candidate Requirements:

A third-level degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, or a Senior Engineer ready to take the next step.

Proven track record in delivering large-scale building projects successfully.

Strong analytical, organisational, and report writing skills.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and implement cost-effective solutions.

Proficiency in MS Office and project scheduling software such as MS Project.
