A well-established and highly regarded civil engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee a large residential development project in Cork City. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all site activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and supervise on-site teams, including both subcontractors and direct staff.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
- Facilitate communication between clients, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Organize and lead regular site meetings, providing detailed progress reports and updates.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in civil or residential projects.
- Extensive knowledge of civil engineering practices, construction management, and health & safety regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: €85,000 – €95,000 per annum.
- Long-term, stable position based in Cork City.
