Project Manager – Canada
Exciting relocation opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Building Division of one of Canada’s Largest Main Contractors (Circa $3 Billion turnover annually) to work across a mixed portfolio of High-Rise, Commercial, Healthcare and Educational projects in the company’s Ontario division, Canada. We are ideally looking for a qualified Senior Project Manager who has delivered large scale building projects in Ireland or the UK.
Duties:
- Manage and oversee daily project operations for projects exceeding $30 million CAD.
- Responsible for overall project success, including budget, schedule, quality, and compliance.
- Ensure safety standards are met through company safety program implementation.
- Organize and control construction activities by planning, scheduling, and setting objectives.
- Guide and support the project team, providing coaching and evaluations to nurture professional growth.
Requirements:
- Degree, diploma, or trade qualification in construction or engineering.
- Over 10 years of construction/project management experience with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK.
- In-depth knowledge of construction practices, contract administration, and building codes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with precise attention to detail.
- Skilled in MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Plan Grid, and open to relocating to Canada within six months.
Package:
- Salary $175,000 to $200,000 CAD (Circa €120k to €135k)
- Cost of living is 30% cheaper than Dublin.
