Project Manager – BusConnects, (Dublin)

A leading civil contractor is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the Liffey Valley to City Centre Core Bus Corridor Scheme, part of the BusConnects programme – a major investment in sustainable transport. The role offers the opportunity to manage a high-profile project, coordinating teams, budgets, schedules, and stakeholders, while ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. This position is ideal for someone with civil infrastructure project management experience, particularly in transport, utilities, or urban development projects.

Duties:

  • Lead day-to-day project management of the BusConnects Liffey Valley to City Centre scheme.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, risk registers, and reporting to senior management and clients.
  • Oversee compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards on site.
  • Support tendering, procurement, and contract administration activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of project documentation, correspondence, and client communications.
  • Prepare progress reports, programme updates, and other submissions for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify potential issues early and implement solutions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager in civil infrastructure, transport, or utilities projects.
  • Proven ability to manage medium to large-scale projects, including budgets, schedules, and teams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, contract administration, and project controls.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and document management systems.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on delivering results and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with transport or sustainable infrastructure projects is highly desirable but not essential.

Salary & Benefits:

  • €80k-€90k
