My client, a well established mid-size Main Contractor, is seeking a Project Manager (Building Experience) with over 5 years of experience managing projects. This role presents an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in the oversight and management of high-profile apartment and housing projects located in North Dublin.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update the master construction programme with the Contracts Manager, ensuring projects meet key milestones.
- Determine staff resources for the project and communicate effectively with your team.
- Implement the Safety System and establish an excellent safety culture on the project.
- Manage project quality over the lifecycle and ensure build quality meets expectations.
- Ensure project costs are managed and prelims/packages are tightly controlled.
- Work with the commercial team to deliver agreed commercial objectives for the project.
- Maintain positive relationships with the client team through concise project controls and reporting, keeping them informed of all risks operationally and commercially, including delays and potential claims.
Requirements:
- Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years experience as a Project Manager or a Senior Engineer looking to progress into a Project Management role.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver complex projects.
- Strong numeracy and report writing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders.
- Understanding of commercial realities and ability to propose cost-effective solutions.
- Proficient in MS Office, project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project)
Salary Package:
- €90k- €100k DOE
