Are you a talented Project Engineer with a passion for shaping the future of Ireland’s water infrastructure? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established consultancy delivering some of the most impactful water network and civil infrastructure projects across the country.

You’ll play a key role in the planning, design, and delivery of crucial water network schemes, including pumping stations, storage facilities, and associated civil infrastructure. From feasibility studies and site assessments to technical evaluations, tender documentation, and stakeholder coordination.

You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients, while also guiding others in preparing designs, drawings, and technical inputs. Throughout the project lifecycle, your technical expertise will help ensure high-quality, sustainable solutions are delivered.

Sample Projects:

  • Major urban regeneration and water infrastructure upgrades – including new water networks, roads, drainage, and utilities. Project values: €250M – €1B.
  • Large-scale residential and mixed-use developments – 500–1,500 homes with integrated water and wastewater infrastructure. Project values: €100M – €400M.
  • Strategic water network upgrades and pumping station design – supporting improved resilience and capacity in key regional hubs. Project values: €20M – €120M.
  • Drainage, SuDS, and flood management schemes – enhancing sustainability and resilience across urban and regional areas. Project values: €10M – €80M.
  • Transport and utilities infrastructure improvements – integrated network design for city centre upgrades, junction improvements, and regional schemes. Project values: €50M – €500M.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Level 8 minimum).
  • Strong post-graduate experience in water network design and civil infrastructure.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and an ability to apply it in a practical, solutions-focused way.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence liaising across teams and stakeholders.
  • A keen eye for problem-solving, and the ability to manage deadlines across multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software.
