Plant Manager – Main Contractor
A well-established Irish construction contractor is currently seeking an experienced Plant Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s fleet, plant, and equipment while supporting project teams across multiple construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company fleet including owned, hired, and leased vehicles.
- Oversee fuel cards, toll tags, insurance renewals, and ensure vehicles meet RSA requirements.
- Coordinate plant, tools, and equipment across multiple construction projects.
- Manage site accommodation, telehandlers, surveying equipment, and other plant for project mobilisation and demobilisation.
- Arrange delivery, collection, maintenance, and repairs of plant and equipment.
- Ensure all plant and equipment inspections, certifications, and servicing are completed on time.
- Maintain accurate records of company tools, plant, and equipment across sites.
- Manage company PPE and distribute to project teams as required.
- Liaise with internal teams to coordinate procurement, logistics, and plant requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with a construction contractor or similar environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling required.
Package
- Salary €70k-€80k DOE
