Plant Manager required for a Top Civil Contractor. This would be the ideal role for a Plant Manager looking to secure a role with a leading contractor based outside Dublin. You will report to the contracts manager and have experience in the processing of plant and materials within the civil industry. This role can be based in either Kilkenny/Limerick or Mayo and the successful candidate will be working on various projects.
Role:
- Strong construction materials knowledge.
- Manage the daily functions of the purchasing department.
- Managing various depot/machinery and equipment
- A smart business acumen and good commercial awareness
- Keep in contact with site management and the finance team to ensure payment approval for materials is processed.
- Resolve problems that arise with transport and delivery of plant and materials.
- Provide reports on waste management, identifying issues and potential improvements.
Requirements:
- Procurement experience with the Construction Industry.
- Excellent knowledge of Plant and Materials.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Able to work off own initiative and work within a team setting.
- Strong numeracy and IT skills including MS Office.
- Requires travel and flexibility
Salary:
- Salary €60k-€70k
