Plant Hire Controller required to join Ireland’s leading Civil Engineering Contractor in their Dublin office.
Role:
- Supporting the Plant Team and internal Projects with logistics, plant hire and sales, maintenance cost controls.
- Liaising with Supply Chain to ensure getting the best value and service available
- Advising Projects on technical plant solutions – across all categories of construction plant
- Taking and managing inbound customer calls/emails/requisitions
- Placing orders for plant – internally and externally via our Asset Mgmt. System
- Supporting the logistics requirements of the business through direct and indirect resource
- Inventory reconciliation-annual + periodic-stock + assets and reconciliation
- Managing our stores ensuring service kits, parts etc are on hand to minimise downtime
- Managing asset performance and compliance through routine maintenance, periodic and ad hoc testing, and examination as per regulatory and business requirements
- Using the in-house hire system and support of new system implementations, integration, and rollout in the future
- Monthly reporting
Requirements:
- Min of 5yrs working in a plant environment
- Prior experience in a role where you can demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
- Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues
- Great communication skills – both verbal and written
- Effective administration, planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good IT/Computer skills. MS Office including Excel and Outlook & experience of database entry
- Driving Licence
Salary
- Salary circa €55k – €65k DOE
