MEP Estimator required for one of Ireland’s largest main contractors to work on a range of Data Centre, Commercial and Industrial projects, based out of their office in Limerick. The successful candidate will be reporting directly into the International Pre-Construction Director.

Responsibilities: 

• Tendering & Estimating – Prepare and review MEP estimates (HVAC, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, BMS) from drawings and specifications.
• Procurement & Vendor Coordination – Source and assess supplier/subcontractor quotes; maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Risk & Value Engineering – Identify risks, scope gaps, and value opportunities to reduce costs without impacting quality.
• Collaboration & Communication – Coordinate with design, engineering, and project teams; support bid strategy and negotiations.
• Cost Management Tools – Maintain cost databases and estimation software; track historical pricing for benchmarking.

Requirements 

• Degree in Building Services, Quantity Surveying, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years’+ experience in an Estimation role.
• Experience working with a Tier 1 Contractor would be beneficial.
• Experience working on Data Centre projects would be beneficial.
• IT Skills – Microsoft Office, ConEst, Trimble and CostX.
