Experienced Mechanical Supervisor required one of Europe s leading Engineering Contractors for a Data Centre project in Dublin. This contractor has a very strong order of books for the next five years and offers fantastic career progression opportunities.
Duties:
- Coordinating and planning of resources including labour, materials and sub-contractors
- Manage and drive a team to meet with all project requirements and deadlines
- Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards
- Prepare relevant reports
- Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards
- Reporting on progress
- Ensure the quality of work is maintained throughout installation
- Carry out weekly toolbox talks
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance for direct staff and sub-contractors
- Regular reviews of working practices to help improve site safety
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade background required
- A minimum of 5 Years experience in a similar role
- Experience working on Data Centre projects would be advantageous
- Must have worked for an M&E Contractor in Ireland or the UK
- Must be driven and be able to work off their own initiative
- The successful Mechanical Supervisor must be in Ireland or the UK at present and be eligible to work in Ireland without requiring a work permit
- Must be proficient in MS Office.
