Mechanical Quantity Surveyor
We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will be working in a Dublin based mechanical contractor specialising in HVAC, Gas, Oil, Heat Pumps and Fire Engineering. The successful candidate will manage the commercial aspects of projects across a range of mechanical systems and fire safety works. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and experienced QS to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and forward-thinking mechanical contracting environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage all QS and commercial duties from tender to final account.
- Prepare and analyse cost estimates, budgets, and variations.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities.
- Review and certify subcontractor payments and valuations.
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and financial statements.
- Support project managers on cost and contract matters.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years’ experience in a mechanical contracting or building services role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, gas, oil and heat pump systems.
- Experience with fire stopping or fire engineering projects an advantage.
- Excellent communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS software.
