Mechanical Quantity Surveyor required to join a Mechanical Engineering contractor at their office in Dublin or Kildare. This role would suit a strong minded and confident Mechanically bias Quantity Surveyor from a trade or Engineering background. As part of the commercial team, you will be based in Ireland but will be supporting the delivery of Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor and Data Centre projects in Ireland, Europe and the UK.

Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and holding authority over the project’s commercial and contractual needs throughout its life cycle.
- Acting as the liaison between the Client Commercial/Contract Team.
- Handling project procurement, encompassing subcontractor management.
- Performing analyses on costs and risks.
- Supervising the commercial aspects pertaining to subcontractors.
- Delivering reports on project costing, margin, and cash flow.
- Administering project change order processes and negotiating costs with the client.
- Issuing monthly valuations and certifications.
- Finalising and reaching agreements on the project’s accounts.
Requirements:
- A Mechanical trade background would be beneficial.
- A Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering would be desirable..
- 4 Years+ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of Mechanical packages.
- Experience working on industrial projects would be advantageous.
- A proven working knowledge of current contract law.
- IT Skills – Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Must have an EU or UK passport.
