Mechanical Project Manager (Belgium)

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex engineering projects from planning through execution and closeout. This role is based in Belgium and the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, proven technical capability, and a commitment to safety, quality, and efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Health & Safety on the project, ensuring all company safety procedures are implemented.
• Plan and oversee all aspects of the project from initiation to closeout, including materials, subcontractor packages, and workforce requirements.
• This Mechanical Project Manager will develop constructability reports and project schedules in collaboration with the Scheduler and Engineering team.
• Define subcontractor scopes with the QS team; manage tendering, awarding, cost control, schedule performance, quality, and safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Senior Mechanical or Project Engineer.
• Strong background in mechanical construction projects within Pharma, Biotech, Semiconductor, or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Experience working for a mechanical contractor.
• Extensive experience in the construction phase of projects including piping fabrication/installation, pressure testing, and equipment installation.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline preferred.
• Project Management qualification is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Navisworks or similar coordination software.
• Completion of Management of Safety in Construction (MSIC) is desirable.
